Things That Lurk in the Darkness

Have you ever wonder if there are actually things lurking in the dark? I know it sounds stupid. But really think about it. There could be things lurking in the darkness that we just can't see because of the light. Either that or you just don't notice it. Maybe there's a reason why some kids are afraid of the dark. Maybe they've seen the terrible hideous creatures that lurk in the darkness. You never know what's lurking in the shadows.
So you should always live life with cautiousness because you never know what's lurking in the shadows waiting to get you.

The Creation of Monsters

This is how I see the whole monster deal.
Your imagination creates the monster. Your fear confirms that the monster is real. Then reality brings the monster to the world to follow you around. So now you have all these monsters following you around and scaring you. No one but you can see the monster and no one but you can get rid of them.
The only way to get rid of them is to not acknowledge their existence in the first place.
